E2-5 - Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs)

A central component of product stewardship is the responsible handling of substances that pose potential risks to health or the environment, such as those regulated under the EU REACH Regulation. In this context, we are continuously improving our internal IT systems and material compliance processes in order to make the handling of these substances safer. We are also actively committed to replacing or reducing these substances wherever technically possible.

We also promote the increased use of digital tools such as the BOMcheck substance database by our suppliers. Our commitment to regulatory compliance extends to meeting all declaration requirements of international regulations, while continuously optimizing our interfaces and automated workflows.

By consistently applying principles of environmentally friendly design and working closely with our business partners, we aim to further minimize the use of declarable substances and decouple economic growth more strongly from resource use.
