27 The company shall provide information on its political influence activities and commitments, including its lobbying activities in relation to its Material Impacts, Risks and Opportunities.
28 The objective of this disclosure requirement is to provide transparency about the company's political influence activities and commitments with respect to political contributions, including the types and purposes of lobbying activities.
(29) The information referred to in paragraph 27 shall include the following:
(a) where applicable, the representative(s) responsible for oversight of these activities in the Administrative, management and supervisory bodies,
(b) in relation to political contributions made in cash or in kind
i. the total monetary value of financial and in-kind contributions made directly and indirectly by the entity, broken down by country or, where applicable, by geographical area and by type of recipient/beneficiary; and
ii. where applicable, the manner in which the monetary value of the in-kind contributions is estimated,
c) the main issues that are the subject of its lobbying activities and, in brief, the company's main positions on these issues. This includes an explanation of the interaction with its material impacts, risks and opportunities identified in its materiality analysis in accordance with ESRS 2; and
d) if the company is registered in the EU Transparency Register or an equivalent transparency register in a Member State, the name of that register and its identification number in the register.
