The method for calculating the emission factors was extensively revised compared to previous years. Four distance classes were defined based on the actual flight movements in 2023 and a representative flight route (with take-off airport VIE - Vienna Schwechat) and the most frequently used aircraft type on the respective route were determined for each class.
